I. Hate. Moving.

Well, actually, it's more like "I. Hate. Packing."

It isn't even the annoyance of taking books off of shelves and packing them. After all, not only are most of them reference and are therefore removed from the time-consuming scrutiny of having to be weeded out of the collection, it's just fitting rectilinear objects into larger rectilinear objects. It's all the small and large fiddly stuff that eventually gets thrown into boxes with creative labels like "CRAP" or "RANDOM CRAP" or "REALLY RANDOM CRAP I SHOULD THROW AWAY BUT HAVEN'T BECAUSE I JUST WANT TO BE DONE WITH PACKING OH PLEASE GHOD."

I. Hate. Moving.

So, ten things I've done that I don't think anyone who reads my journal has done. Hmm.

Frankly, since regression to the mean (and Ugol's Law) still reign on this planet, I don't think it's very likely, but I'll give it a shot.

1. Got burned in effigy (and not in a funny ha-ha way).
2. Ate a pound of chocolate-covered espresso beans in 90 minutes. -- been done by others (you're all sickos.)
3. Led 75 basses in a rousing choral rendition of "Weird Al" Yankovic's song "One More Minute"
4. Matched wits with a Vietnamese investment syndicate for a house purchase.
5. Been hired as a professional negotiatior for car purchases.
6. Been a street performer (juggling, in specific) in Stables Market (Camden, London, UK)... and had people throw money at me.
7. Made a NYC transit policeman vomit.
8. Been brought in to talk someone down from a rooftop.
9. Totalled and/or destroyed 5 cars in as many years, in the course of normal driving.
10. Got the high score on a videogame in an arcade in Jerusalem, while successfully fending off three pickpockets.
11. Gave proselytizing lessons to a couple of Mormons out on mission.
