I'm only gonna say this once.....

So, there's the whole thiscrush.com "Crush Counter" meme that has been going around.
I will not be participating for many reasons, but most of them are outside the scope of this posting.

This is how this is all going to play out:

1. People put the crush counter in their LJs
2. Other people click on them.
3. At some point, if you actually want to know who clicked on your crushtag, you'll have to pay.
4. If the owner of this site is feeling particularly sketchy, they'll reverse-index the database, and tell you what crushtags any one person clicked on, for a modest fee.
5. If they're feeling extra sketchy, they'll let anyone access any of the data, for a nominal fee.
6. If they're feeling extra super sketchy, they'll let you suppress your data, and any data connected to you, for an appropriate price.
7. Drama.
