Well, autumn has been a bit late in coming to Boston, but it appears we're finally getting the picture-perfect New England autumn days that make it all worthwhile.

That is, truly, a most excellently shaped tree. I mean, leaf color happens when and as it does. But the shape is wonderful.

The tree out of my back window looks about the same, though it's just starting to drop all its leaves.
