geeks do the darnedest things
Sep. 22nd, 2002 06:50 amIt appears that I've found something new to do when I'm unable to sleep.
I'm finally writing up a (tech-) book proposal that I've been meaning to write for a month or two. I still have a hard time believing that I'm willing to commit myself to something like this, but a friend and I have hit upon an idea for which there is enough material to write a book, and I feel the pursuit to be eminently worthwhile, at least for now.
Fortune favors the bold, or so they say. This would probably make me feel better if I knew what I was boldly getting myself into.

"But I thought you finished the book last month!"
"I did. I'm working on a proposal for the next book."
