A breakfast equation

Okay. I'm a big fat hypocrite. I have said any number of times in the past that I actively try to avoid doing "here's what I had for breakfast" blogging, but well.... I just cooked up my first batch of steel-cut oats for the season.

  Steel-cut oats
+ yogurt-based butter analogue
+ salt
+ 1.5 slices of American Cheese

= A world of yum.

The snow outside just adds to the essential warmth of the experience.

INCOMING!!!!!!!!! (NYC edition)

I will be down in NYC from 12/7 until 12/15 helping to run the network for a very large networking conference.

To give you an idea how big it is, I'll use the languages of some of my readers:
Bostonian: "It's a wikkid big conference!"
New Yorker: "Da conference is fuckin' hyooooge!"
British: "Well, I suppose the conference is not small at all."
Californian: "Dude, that conference? Yeah. It's hella big."
Northern Virginian: "Yeah. The conference is pretty big. AND YOU CAN'T CARRY CONCEALED THERE EITHER, YOU NANNY-STATE LIBERAL!"

So, while I will be spending most of my time running around like a madman inside what I believe to be the largest contiguous enclosed space in Manhattan, I want to see as many of you as I possibly can, once I figure out what my schedule looks like (honestly, I really have no idea at the moment beyond "show up for orientation at this place at this time").
