RIP my replacement tire for the car.
January 10, 2003 - February 2, 2003
You know those potholes you see everywhere in Boston this time of year? Well, the chunks of the road that come out of those holes have to go somewhere.
In short, my car karma continues to suck. Repeatedly and a lot.
Waah.

Date: 2003-02-02 08:14 pm (UTC)- It took only about 15 minutes to replace, in a relatively dry spot,
- it'll cost you $9 to have the tire place replace the tire, since you bought the insurance, and
- nobody was depending on you to be anyplace in a hurry.
All in all, not a bad situation.I haven't had a flat in a couple of years, though. Am I due?

Date: 2003-02-03 04:22 am (UTC)Thanks for helping me change the tire, BTW. The extra pair of hands is what made it a relatively painless 15 minute job.

Couldn't tell you, but as I have mentioned in the past, I'm convinced that, for every person like me, there is someone out there who has driven a BMW for 300k miles without doing any other maintenance than putting gas in the tank.
Thanks again. :)
