'cos I'm a geek, yeah yeah yeah.
Feb. 10th, 2003 11:57 amI spent yesterday laid up with a massibe hed code. All stubbed ub and snibbly wib a rabitly diminiching subbly ub tishooz. I'm feeling better today, but learning from previous experience, I'm staying home and resting the one extra day.
So, in between blowing my nose, drinking fluids, and napping, what did I do?
I made my first semi-useful application for Mac OS X (note: 5 Mb download 'cos it wouldn't let me make a disk image smaller than that). Project Builder and Interface Builder are really nifty. That was the most fun that I've had coding in a while.
Realization:Every now and then I have to remind myself that I am actually a geek, and not some lucky twit who picked up a few trade skills and can fake intellectual curiosity really well. This project will do for now.

Date: 2003-02-11 09:34 am (UTC)Put in the rate of your loan, the total term of the loan, and the payment that they're asking of you each month (exclusive of any overpayments you might make), and it will tell you what the principal was on the loan at its origination.
It assumes monthly payments.
I'm actually intending to make this a much more general-purpose loan calculator, now that I've made it basically work.
