mangosteenStanding in front of the stove, making five pounds of potatoes worth of potato latkes for my Jewish Christmas party (i.e. chinese food, rented movies, etc.), all while bopping along to whatever christmas carols happen to be playing on the radio at the time.
At some point, necessity fades into ceremony. Watching the transition is fascinating.
