thing 1:
Yesterday: Afro.
Today: Buckwheat.
Time to get a haircut.

thing 2:
A few days ago, when the news broke about the "Terrorism Futures Market" idea that the Pentagon was promoting, I said to someone, "Hm. Technological "market" solution to world problems, completely neglecting human behavior. Sounds like the Extropians to me."

It appears that I was correct.

I think I'm going to do the happy "Called It" dance for a little while.

Hee.

Wow. That boy is frightening. Personally, I always thought the PAM was a joke. I mean if you have twenty-six events A through Z, and event A was 'predicted' to be the most likely to happen, don't you think that everything would be done to reduce the chances of 'A' happening, thus reducing it's value. It seems that the PAM is a really good way to educate 'those that wish us harm' in the things that they should be doing. Hmmm...event A is high, but event Q is supposedly the least likely thing to happen. Ok, time to get your buds and work on event Q because no one is looking at that. They're all staring at event A waiting for it to happen.

Do the happy dance. Shake it. :)

*grin* Bet you thought of John Brunner's "Delphi Pools", too, when you heard it.
