Aug. 4th, 2005 10:16 pmToday was long. I filled a 1GB SD card with pictures of gigantohumungous redwood trees. More on that later.
While I was sorting through pictures, I've put up a few new ones in the "Desktop Backgrounds" gallery.

I'm currently using the extreme closeup of the roots of a bonsai tree for the background on my laptop.
But now, I feel that collapsing is the most reasonable course of action. 'night.

-bb, getting this failing feeling that my plans for taking digital pictures in Germany may be inadequate...

Date: 2005-08-09 03:01 am (UTC)So far, I've got 2GB of SD storage = 1000 exposures the way I take them. (0.5GB of that we actually just borrowed for the trip, but increasing raw capacity isn't likely to do much further for us.)
For now, it looks like we'll be spending some time deleting some bad shots each night, but I've also heard a rumor that a lot of camera shops in Germany there have kiosks that will let you not only print from a camera memory media, but burn it to CD.
Ah, technology. Makes your life so simple, doesn't it?
