End Of Summer Party pictures: Batch 1

I've put a few of the pictures up from the End Of Summer Party. There are more to come.

This time around, I decided to go for more of a "sports photography" approach. I missed too many shots last time by trying to choose the perfect moment. That being said, I'm quite capable of choosing approximately the perfect moment, and letting the camera happily fire away at 5fps to get the right shot. For every 'action' picture you see on the page mentioned below, there were likely another 2-3 that were taken immediately before and/or after.

There are some absolutely breathtaking shots in this batch, and I'm grateful to all the firespinners who put their talents on display and to sunspiral and roozle for having the party in the first place.

There's some real beauty in these pictures.
